Hello! I know that many of you come to my blog to see pictures and read about the sample boxes. You may be wondering where the Glymm box is this month - I had the same question!!
I emailed Glymm, and it seems their new policy is to send out boxes at the end of the month. I did not receive an email telling me this, and after the January box being two weeks late, I was wondering if they had forgotten I had a year subscription. Well, they didn't and I should be receiving the box soon, I hope! Their customer service was great, but I can't help but feel that the Glymm box may not be a long term thing for me. The boxes are less reliable in terms of shipping date, and I feel their communications have been lacking somewhat. I do hope this is just temporary, but, in the end if I am not happy, I will cancel the subscription.

ReplyDeleteI'm new to the subscription box scene - ordered first one just last month, but since then I've been hooked. Dam those clever marketing people, LOL. I am currently subscribed to about 3, sigh. I do like how it "forces" me to take some time out for myself - something that I found has gone to the wayside after my daughter was born.
ReplyDeleteI am the same - 3 subscriptions! They are a great way to try new things, especially if you are busy at home with little ones. I just like getting a surprise in the mail. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat other boxes do you subscribe to? Glymm, Topbox... what is your third? I'm currently subscribed to Topbox, Julep & Ipsy.
ReplyDeleteAnything in the mail other than bills is good for me, haha. I work full-time, as well as share responsibility raising our 2 year old daughter... we're dual (professional) income, 1 child & no family support nearby. Finding "me time" or that perfect work/life balance has always been a struggle for my husband & I.
Btw, I just saw on Glymm's FB page that there are rumours that they are "bankrupt" ~ no clue if that is true or not?
I subscribe to Glymm, Topbox, and LuxeBox. The last one went from monthly to 4 times a year, to make the quality of the boxes better. I really should check on the Glymm page....I guess I may have lost my subscription!
