Happy Saturday everyone! Just so you don't think I am a negative Nelly...which is not my personality...I thought I would post about one of my favourite fragrances in my scent wardrobe, Jo Malone Peony & Moss.

This was a limited edition scent last year at the Jo Malone counters, along with one that was lilac scented (almost got that but passed on it because I was trying to be frugal...ha!). It was only available in 100 mL bottles, but once I smelled it, it was love at first whiff. This is one fragrance where the smell from the bottle remains true on your skin, and on me, for several hours. The scent is a combination of peonies - with their lovely, truer-than-roses, rosy scent - and oakmoss - which imparts an earthy greenness that grounds the floral notes. To me, this reminds me of the smell of an English garden in June after a good rain, the ground still wet and earthy, and the peonies dominating the air with their beautiful fragrance.
I have only put a small dent in this, but I intend to wear the heck out of the bottle this year. I wish it were not limited edition, because it is just so wonderful to me. My mother would always comment on the scent when I wore it, telling me I smelled so amazing. :)
This is a 5 whiffs out of 5 fragrance for me - classic, perfect, and very wearable.

Your description of the fragrance created a lot of great mental images. I love the way you write! :) I'll need to give this one a whiff if I see it!
